FINALS!! 3/4 of the way done.

I have one last paper to write,  it's a whooper! But I couldn't let another day go by with thanking all of my friends and family for the emotional support.

As of Saturday, I have two weeks off and I plan on using it wisely. So if you want to have some fun, I am your gal.  Call me, email me, or text. I'll be available. ;)

Thanks again!!

Thanksgiving. We have so much to be grateful for!

We had a wonderful weekend. It was so nice not to have any plans. We made pizzas for our Thanksgiving Dinner. Our kids love pizza and to decorate one has been their request for a long time, so we let them. They sure made a mess but they were giddy with happiness.

We have so much to be grateful for; we are indeed blessed. We love our friends and family, what would we do with out you all?

Twiners

Z has been really interested in combining clothes to make outfits. One morning I woke up to find the girls like this.

ONE MONTH UNTIL CHRISTMAS BREAK

I can't wait to relax, sleep and watch some TV with the kids.Yay!! :)

This is one of the families we will be watching. I LOVE THE WALTONS!!

Can I be honest for a minute?

This is regarding the cleanliness of my carpets. I hate to admit it but my carpets went about 18 months without being cleaned. I know that is terrible, but ya know, budgeting and sheer laziness of making the appointment got in the way.  All I have to say, come for a surprise visit, PLEASE. So I can show you my clean carpets. It is A.MA.ZING how something so little can make you feel so much better about everything. I now have a strict rule; Clean Socks Only on my carpet and NO bare feet. We will see how long it lasts, hopefully forever but let’s be realistic. We weren’t supposed to eat in the new minivan either and that lasted 4 months, much to Matt’s chagrin.

BON JOVI with the RockStars (T and K)

The night started out at Olive Garden, I have never laughed so hard in my entire life. It was RAD!! Then we moved to the theater; I have never enjoyed the sights and sounds of Bon Jovi this way before, enjoying Bon Jovi through the eyes of the boys was a very cool experience. It was not a concert per say, it was more like "This Is It!" than a real concert but to the boys it was a concert. I loved every minute of it, minus the losing of my wedding ring before the show started (we found it immediately-no worries), the whole tub of popcorn spilling onto the floor and the wasted drinks. HA! Who cares, BON JOVI was on the screen.  Thanks Kristi and K, you two ROCK!

Teacher Conferences

As many of you remember I was an Elementary Education Major right out of high school; as the years have gone by I realized I don’t really like other people’s children. ;) However, I really, really, really like my own. I think they are funny yet exhausting; Hilarious but quite irreverent; Hardworking but goof balls. You catch my drift (even with my incorrect use of semi-colons). T did well but he should hand in more of his stellar work.  He is so “my” kid.  Z is a sweetheart and is a great student, much like her Dad. K knows all her letters, their sounds and many other fascinating things that I am forgetting about right now. They are all very enjoyable to have in their respective classes, they are good helpers and are somewhat class clowns. Oh dear! What are we gonna do in a few years?! Hopefully their outgoing personalities stay with them. Just today Z told me she wants to report the news “like ABC4”. Do I dare tell her I had an opportunity to volunteer on the CNN tour and didn’t? She might freak out! Do I dare tell her I have a girl crush on Katie Couric? How would she ever be able to understand that?! Ha! Needless to say, with more reading, more love and more attention to detail they will be the same AWESOME kids they have always been. I LOVE MY KIDS!!
