First weekend of October

My Mom came for a visit. Halloween shopping always has been my Mom’s job, now she has to get on a plane to do it. The kids have come to expect her to take them to get their “new” costume, they look forward to the day in October for such a shopping trip. I can’t help but be grateful for that day too; they always come home with a much needed, new pair of shoes as well. How does my Mom always know what they need? Thanks Mom!

We also celebrated K's birthday a week early with a trip to our favorite Mexican restaurant where K wore a sombrero and all. :) It was so fun!
